The Cole Haan 2.Zer0grand Style Edit | Start from the ground up

I've been getting a couple of enquiries of late about my new swathe 2.Zer0grand water resistant footwear from Cole Haan, so I've compiled a mini style edit should you be in need of rejuvenating your autumnal wardrobe.

The 2.Zer0grand Oxfords comes with a classic wingtip look on the uppers but with some special upgrades. It's made from a woven textile so it’s very supple and soft also has some leather accents around the tongue and heel.

Upfront is the traditional lace up closure that giving you a secure fit, it has blind eyelets (hence the Oxford name) for a clean finish.

The insole has great cushioning, it has rubber pieces in the high wear areas for plenty of traction and durability. (Available from Colehann for a cool £155).

I've styled these shoes with a Fassett camo shirt from All Saints. Camo is a trend that has refused to rescind and this shirt follows in the footsteps of military attire with dual buttoned chest pockets. As this shirt is composed from a heavier cotton I prefer to wear it open and open the sleeves all the way back. (Any excuse to show off the Seiko). (Available from All Saints for a cool £108).

I'm mixing up some accessories with Serge Denim rings and Tom Ford sunglasses.

The real show pony is the Bodaskins Leather Jacket. 100% premium Napa Sheepskin leather cut with tailored lapels, quilted panels and a classic V silhouette that makes my shoulders look supreme. If you're looking to layer this jacket then you might want to go a size up. (Available from Bodaskins for a cool £589).

The Cuban Collar Shirt | Men's Style Edit

Okay so we're forecasted continuous rain in the UK for the next 10 days, so I couldn't feel less Cuban right now if I'm honest! Some people say that I have an over imaginative mind and I'm harnessing all of it's power right now in the attempt to imagine this shirt on the beaches of Cuba or in-fact anywhere remotely sunny. Instead I've thrown off my large warm jacket, umbrella and photographed this outfit during a brief break in the weather on the streets of London.

It's quite hard trying to showcase new SS18 (Spring/Summer 2018) collections when the weather just isn't playing ball...but as a predominately fashion blogger, I have to persevere, adapt and carry on regardless. I love the simplicity of this look, a basic monochrome palette and on-trend Cuban collar shirt completes a very summer look. Imagine this on a tropical paradise sipping a cocktail.

Starting from top to bottom, I'm wearing sunglasses from Finlay & Co, a white Cuban shirt from Reiss, watch from Rotary, skinny black jeans from ASOS and white trainers from Cole Haan.

Men's AW17 Outfit of the Week | Style Edit

In London we have some of the finest Museums in the world and the majority of them are for free (or for a donation). So last week, I decided to make the most of this generosity by visiting the London History Museum which is situated near South Kensington tube station. I was blown away at how incredible it was, just the vast array of artefacts on display was mind-blowing. The last time I visited was for a school trip *a LONG time ago, so as my first new years resolution, I'm going to visit a museum a month.

Of course being a Style Edit, outfit of the week post, I need to explain exactly what I'm wearing and where you can also purchase these items. So starting on the footwear, I've worn a new pair of Cole Haan white sneaker/trainers with tan details on the heals. I've taken this palette to style my outfit around, which is white, tan, camel colours. The jeans are black ripped style from ASOS, the shirt is from Zara Man and the bag is Jack Russel Bags. I've layered with a oatmeal overcoat from Reiss and kept the wind off my neck with a camel scarf from Reiss.
