Christopher Ward Watch - Twelve 38 in White

Like most Christopher Ward lovers I've been waiting a while for them to release the Twelve 38 in white. Finally it's here, at an accessible price of 850 on the strap, £1050 on the bracelet. I'm tempted by the latter as I believe the integrated lugs on the bracelet make for a much better aesthetic.
The Hype:
When Christopher Ward fans demanded a 38mm version of their integrated sports watch, they realised they had a point – and set the production wheels in motion. The result is a watch that doesn’t just look great on every size of wrist, but also comes in a colour previously unseen in the Twelve Collection – Midnight Sun – as well as three existing shades. As with the rest of the Twelve line, the 38mm case boasts a bezel finished three ways, a tapered integrated bracelet and an anti-shock Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement you can, well, set your watch by.
Thoughts:
I'm in love with the look of this watch. The exhibition case back is stunning and it has everything I want in a watch. Although the real show stopper is the white dial itself. I would also be tempted by the nordic blue. If I were to have any misgivings is that the crown is just a bit on the small side and I've heard reports there may be a bit of silver in the white. I'm a purist when it comes to the White Dials and this one looks as white as they come. I'd need to see one in person to find out.

The best bit?
Is arguably the price. I consider Christopher Ward a luxury brand although the price might not reflect it. I place great currency on quality and craftsmanship, to me that is luxury. For just over 1000GBP this is a great entry level-ish price, for a marquee name and a stunning watch.
