THE ULTIMATE UNIFORM FOR WORKING FROM HOME

The most important thing to remember when working from home is never to sit on your arse for longer than 60 minutes. I find that my love handles are getting harder to shift because I'm rooted to the chair a lot more than I used to be. So every hour I get off my arse and run around the garden. The second most important thing is a decent comfy wardrobe.

I've settled on a look that has been more or less my uniform for the past 3 months. That look is very much geared around Shorts And Long-Sleeve Sweats.

I've pulled together a list of the items you'll need to recreate the best look for working from home. All items courtesy of AllSaints.

Tee

A new favourite. Take a look at the Valence T-Shirt. It's shaped to a signature relaxed fit. The new print has a vintage feel, while slight distressed details finish it off. I love the look of this and the slight fade on the logo gives it a lived in look. £55.

Oversized Crew Sweatshirt

Crafted from organic cotton and shaped to an oversized fit. Their signature is on the chest and back, from London to Tokyo - this is the Underground Sweatshirt. I think the logo is subtle and can be layered with the tee if you want to turn off the heating during the winter. £99

Underground Nylon Baseball Cap

Crafted from nylon and shaped to a classic silhouette. Our signature is embroidered - from London to Tokyo, this is the Underground Baseball Cap. It looks sophisticated, smart and youthful at the same time. You might be working from home but you'll always be popping to the shops and this will be discreet and cover all manner of bed-hair sins. £45

High Top Trainers

I have to have minimalist trainers. Plus when you're shopping in all the same place, you don't want huge logos everywhere or else you'll be looking like an AllSaints billboard. Keep it casual in the Bryce High Tops. They're for everyday, crafted from canvas with a suede trim. They've added our signature on the side - it's an important date. Available £85.

Straight Shorts

I love the look of these and colour neutral so they can be paired with more or less anything. Tailored without any rules. (Says that in the description by someone that has clearly never worked as a tailor. As a tailor the first thing you'll learn are rules about cutting, striking, seam allowance and so on. I'm sure some rules had to be employed to create these).  The Lago Shorts are a summer option. They are cut to a straight fit with raw edge detailing. They go well with their Hawaiian shirts - a winning combination. Available £129.
