Jo Malone London Launches a Luxury Dog Shampoo with WildWash

If you thought your own grooming routine was getting a little excessive, Jo Malone London has just given the dog a reason to compete for bathroom shelf space.

The British fragrance house has teamed up with pet-care brand WildWash to launch the Jo Malone London Orange & Cedarwood Dog Shampoo – WildWash Edition, bringing a little of the brand’s signature luxury to dog grooming.

A Jo Malone London Scent… For Dogs

The new shampoo combines natural essential oils of orange and cedarwood, creating a fresh, woody scent that feels unmistakably in keeping with the Jo Malone London world. The cleansing formula works into a refreshing lather, designed to freshen the coat while leaving it looking beautifully shiny.

It’s a fun collaboration, but there’s some genuine pet-care expertise behind it too. WildWash is a British pet-care brand specialising in grooming products, making the partnership a little more considered than simply putting a luxury fragrance name on a bottle of dog shampoo.

Jo Malone London also says the formula is gentle enough for regular coat care.

Even the Bottle Has a Surprise

In typical Jo Malone London fashion, the packaging is part of the appeal. Each 285ml bottle features one of four different dog breed illustrations, but if you order online, you won't know which design you've received until it arrives. If you're particularly attached to one, selected stores allow you to choose an illustration while stocks last.

And at £18 for 285ml, it's actually a surprisingly accessible way to bring a little luxury into the dog-grooming routine.

As someone who loves fragrance and grooming and has dogs, this is exactly the sort of slightly unnecessary luxury I can get behind. After all, if we're spending money making ourselves smell good, it seems only fair that the dogs get involved too.
