Top 5 Affordable Luxury Watches Right Now

Today I'm putting together my Wishlist for affordable luxury watches right now. Whatever your budget I believe these to be aspirational watches that would take pride of place in any man's collection. I've thumbed through the pages of Est1897, a company that has been buying and selling pre-owned jewellery and watches for over 120 years. Here are my top picks, but don't hesitate to get in touch if you are looking to sell your watch, all details can be found on the EST1897 website

I have a soft spot for the Montblanc Meisterstuck, especially the pen JFK used to sign the Golden Book of the city of Cologne when German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer didn’t have a pen and instead signed with John F. Kennedy’s personal Meisterstück 149. This stunning, pre-loved Men's Montblanc Meisterstuck watch features an Adjustable Leather bracelet and a 31mm case. The numerals are large with italic vintage. Easy to tell the time at a glance and has timeless elegance and history as standard.

The Omega Seamaster is an intricate timepiece which was launched by Omega back in 1948, being a perfect addition to any watch collection. The Seamaster is synonymous with James Bond fans, the model has modified several times over the decades but has sustained from the first Pierce Brosnan Bond in Goldeneye, 'til the last Daniel Craig appearance as Bond in No Time To Die.  This Pre-Owned example is finished with a blue dial inside a 41mm stainless steel case, which is fitted on a 17.5cm stainless steel bracelet. The Watch is also powered by a Quartz movement and is water resistant up to 300 metres.

With 3 sub dials ameliorating the black dial face, this stunning, pre-loved Men's Raymond Weil Freelancer weaves intricate complications with deft-design. The result: a masterclass in elegance and craftsmanship. A casual dress watch that features an Adjustable Leather bracelet and a 42mm case.

How beautiful does this pre-loved Longines Master Collection look? The only thing I'm not overly crash hot on is the date just in the 6 position. But that's semantics. The overall aesthetic is crisp, it's clean, it's got a beguiling medusa like quality to it. Once you lock eyes, you almost have to buy it.

No affordable luxury watch listicle would be complete without a Tag Heuer representation. This TAG Heuer Aquaracer was handpicked by my other half Tuula. An elegant dress watch for a black tie do somewhere in London no doubt. The black dial face and slim 35mm casing, would no doubt look too feminine on my wrist. A good present for the other half? Not half. Will save her stealing mine I suppose.
