Best Gift Ideas for the Dad that has EVERYTHING this Father’s Day

This will be the last in the series of Father Day's gift ideas. I hope you've found them useful and please keep DM'ing me your suggestions. I would like to also note that none of my proposed ideas are sponsored in anyway. Now onto some out-of-the-box thinking and random searches that have given me some fresh ideas for best gift ideas for the man that has everything. By the way, my father hasn't got everything, but never asks for anything neither. So this list is an X-Factor list. What would your Father want, that he never knew he needed?

Subscription to fragrances

In a previous article on the best fragrances for Father's Day, I neglected to mention the idea of a subscription fragrance box. I wrote about subscriptions for Father's Day back in 2016. The best one I could find was by HOOHA. You can listen to the founder talk about the genius of a Fragrance subscription on the Menswear Style podcast. More on the brand Hooha and how it works can be found here. Subscriptions are another great way of always being front of mind for your recipient.

Your time - do a jigsaw together?

You know sometimes all the want from you is your time. To spend time with them cleaning the garage or working on that project that never seems to be any further down the road each time you visit. Why not work on something together if there isn't anything currently going on? For my money those are jigsaws. Some of my close friends got into jigsaws big time over lockdown. The word is Ravensburger are the best and be sure to check out their site for some options. Failing that a fishing trip? A boat ride along the Norfolk Broads? A tour of a distillery maybe.

The Neck Massager

I'm not pushing 70 and even I'm riddled with aches and pains. Christ knows what it must be like to be a seasoned veteran that has used his hands for spades most his life. I invested in a neck massager some time ago and Tuula and I share it once in a while whilst we watch TV at night. The model we bought is a Neck Massager with Heat and does help. There is no substitute for a professional masseuse but this keeps the wolf from the doors with regards to back niggles.

The Complete Box Set on Blu Ray

I chanced across the new release of The Persuaders on Blu Ray recently. I remember vividly my Dad loving this show and being forced to being subjected to it on re-runs when I was old enough to watch it. Doesn't every Dad have a show from the 60s or 70s that they were hooked on? Here are some Box Set Blu Rays perfect for Dad, with links to Amazon.

Blood Test Check Up

Woah saved the best 'til last right? I've just had a friend who went and did this and I think it's a great idea and great value. The company is called Randox Health and they have offices in London. You might have seen them on billboards on the underground. The goal is to understand, track and improve your health data to live healthier for longer. After you visit them and give blood, they send those samples away and give you a thorough diagnostics of what's going on, what to look out for and what can be improved.
