TOP 10 SUMMER FRAGRANCES FOR MEN

Today I'm going to give you a rundown of some of the best Summer Fragrances for Men. Pulled from my own collection.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino

Many of you know I am a huge Tom Ford fan. His range might be expensive but it is a luxury brand, you want the best you have to be willing to dig deep. I'm a huge advocate of refreshing and invigorating scents and Neroli Portofino, really transports you to that quaint coastal town on the Italian coast.

£164 for 50ml Eau de Parfum via Selfridges.

Creed Virgin Island Water

Virgin Island Water is what Patrick Bateman might describe as a playful little scent. American Psycho anyone? It has a strong push of citrus that gives you a distinctly tropical vibe.

£165 for 50ml Eau de Parfum via Selfridges.

Tom Ford Beau De Jour

I know, another Tom Ford fragrance on the podium. Perhaps I should say these are in no discernible order. If you were ordering this at the bar you'd ask for one measure of smoke, two measures of mint, poured over Chloe Ting's six pack and served with a straw.

You get what I mean YouTubers? I should also say you can find a full review of this on my Vlog. Along with many other fragrance reviews.

£83 for 50ml Eau de Parfum via Selfridges.

Le Labo Baie 19

I know, sounds like one of Gwyneth Paltrow's kids right? It has that lightning in a bottle, illusory yet somehow familiar aura. Like wet grass, like rain on cement, like your grandfathers garden. It’s all those things and none of those things. Herbaceous, curious and utterly beguiling.

£127 for 50ml Eau de Parfum via Selfridges.

Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt

Wrongly indexed by many sites as a fragrance for women. This is a unisex parfum and has all the complexities of a traditional Jo Malone fragrance. It evokes the picnics at the foothills of the Dover cliffs. Imagine, what the landscape that Fleming describes in Moonraker would smell like.

£98 for 100ml Cologne via Selfridges.

Kilian Vodka on the Rocks

For a start it's the best looking bottle on the shelf. It's bolt blue aesthetic will make you pine for those cloudless mornings. It's an impactful scent, aromatic yet accessible. Inviting, intriguing and just smells expensive.

£185 for 50ml Eau de Parfum via Selfridges.

Penhaligon’s Empressa

A potent cocktail of lust and allure. It has a vampish quality. The blood orange, the new dawn peach, it all feels like a poem written on the shores of the Maldives. This is a brand steeped in history, and summer fragrances are Penhaligon’s modus operandi.

£178 for 100ml Eau de Parfum via Selfridges.

DIOR Sauvage

Johnny Depp digging in the desert at midnight. SOLD! Just a crisp slice of escapism, reminiscent of late evening walks down the banks of Little Venice. It has that winning blend of bergamot and black pepper, ticks all the right boxes for me.

£74 for 60ml Parfum via Selfridges.

Aqua di Parma Blu Mediteraneo

Anything MED or 'aqua' and I'm in. This is probably one of the woodiest scents in my list of summer fragrances for men. It's also the most exotic for my money. Not necessarily the most elegant or luxurious, but it certainly emotes a faraway place. Like dipping your feet in clear blue, off the stern of some playboys yacht.

£116 for 150ml Eau de Toilette via Selfridges.

Diptyque Tam Dao

I smelt this on a client before social distancing became a thing. It certainly made me sit up and take notice. It's got a velvety smoothness, fused with a vanilla musk that reminds me of my Bali days. Oh how I miss those, the food, the sun, the good life.

£120 for 75ml Eau de Parfum via Selfridges.
