Savile Row Company | Aftershave Fragrance Review

The Savile Row Company is a global online retailer of fine luxury goods with a focus on menswear, but also spanning across accessories, footwear and womenswear. I have sampled their shirts a very long time ago, and thought they were good enough value for the money. This time I'm roadtesting their fragrance, Savile Row Company London.
I didn't have much expectations as the name doesn't offer much else apart from the glib afterthought of so many retailers that fancy a punt at putting out a fragrance.
At least this one is current however and available to buy through their website.
The Hype
Our men's fragrance is ideal for the dapper gentleman requiring the finest luxury every day. Presented in a sleek 50ml glass bottle, it offers a refreshing aroma with its elegant blend of sparkling citrus, spicy pink pepper and fresh peppermint top notes, with a warm, velvety base of smooth masculine wood and amber.
The Bottle
Well presented, nice size for travel bags and the perforated tall cap gives it some presence on the shelf. The label I'm not overly keen on. It almost looks like they have printed a copy of a copy and it's somehow gotten out of focus. The logo is offset from the type face and it looks cluttered and messy.
My thoughts
The opening is very spirited. It gives me that sense of walking back into the alcohol factory, or waking up in my lost years 25-33 of waking up every morning after 3 bottles of wine a night had been consumed. Once the hotness dissipates and I manage to climb back to modern day, there are some sweet tangs of sparking citrus notes, spicy pink pepper and fresh peppermint spins like a cosmic kaleidoscopic waterfall disappearing into a black hole.
The heart of jasmine pushes through like an un-manned unicorn, with a whiff of aromatic geranium and nutmeg in its wake. The amber isn't as alluring as the description would have you believe and it's all done and done within 30 minutes. Sadly, unlike a Savile Row suit, it just doesn't last.
Word on the street
The performance is so incredibly ass. barely lasts 30 mins on 3 sprays. I even tried 8 sprays, and it lasts like an hour, and the opening gets very intense. Jafrii - Fragrantica
