Best Top 5 Face Washes Currently Available Tried and Tested

I think my face has been exfoliated more times than all of Hannibal Lecter's victims put together. Like past time lovers, they have left their mark. Though of all these friends and lovers, some have remained. I went down memory lane for you and cobbled together some of the best facial washes and ex-foliators that I have roadtested.

Exfoliant from Curology

This one is really good for the pores. Although I have just come back from a clinic where they squeeze all the blackheads out of your face manually. Sounds terrifying? It is.

I've long suffered from blackheads around my nose area, and oddly, around my ear lobes at times. I don't necessarily have large pores, but the ones I have I like to know are as clean as possible. My skin texture has much improved since I started using it, it helped clear my blackheads. Read the entire article.

Ben Sherman THE EXFOLIATING FACIAL SCRUB in CHARCOAL

It lathers up well and the bottle dispenses it perfectly. There is a waft of walnut after I wash the liquid free from my face. Overall enjoyable.

Still curious as to whether Ben Sherman is a credible brand anymore? Read my full write where I share my research notes.

Blackstone's Detoxifying Face Wash

Still going strong with these since I started using them back in March. Although I will need to replenish supplies soon.

It's very easy to apply and rinses well without feeling like you have little bits clinging on. It smells quite generic 'Man Smell' which actually, will be the feature for an upcoming candle review, stay tuned for 'Classic Man'. Catch the full write up review here.

Be sure to use the Blackstone Daily Face Cleanser.

Harrys Nettoyant Visage Face Wash

What in God' green recycling bin is Nettoyant? Naturally this was the question keeping me up at night as you can imagine. I still don't know, but this seems to be a German counterpart to the Peppermint one I wrote about on the blog back in 2021. For me it leaves my skin feeling relaxing, rejuvenated and redolent. All the "Re's".

Whenever I see a simple domain name like Harrys.Com, a little man in my mind sits up and applauds, knowing just how much that must have cost.

American Crew Clay Exfoliator

I miss these guys. Honestly, how come they discontinued this line? I once wrote that this facial wash was like having ten cans of red bull. OK maybe a bit overkill, but if anyone can find a decent alternative to this beauty then please drop me a line.
