Cellmen Skincare Review: Simply the Best thing EVER?

Today I'm going to tell you about Cellmen, a Swiss high-performance skincare line designed for men, rich in stabilised cellular extract and targeted ingredients. The range gives noticeable skin revitalising results suited to the specific needs of men’s skin giving optimal comfort without effort. Well that's what it says on the tin anyway.  

I gave these a road test and incorporated some of the products into my skincare regime. Cellmen have been going since the 1980s and in that time they have been perfecting the quality of their skincare formulas and expanding our ranges to bring you the quintessence of phyto-cellular cosmetics. 

On a side note I love the colouring of the branding, red and white mirroring that of the Swiss flag. I'm sure it's not a happy accident. Anyway let's take a look at the 3 products I was sent on to try. 

CellSplash - £136

A high-performance, multi-action cellular formula that awakens skin with an intense wave of freshness. This alcohol-free toner can be used after shaving to help soothe razor burn or cleansing to prime skin for moisturiser.

• Witch Hazel Hydrosol reduces post shave redness, soothes & tightens pores

• Aloe Vera moisturises and soothes

• Ulva compress green alga refreshes & moisturises

Thoughts. If anyone has seen American Psycho we all know that alcohol dries out the skin making you look more tired. So very relieved to have an alcohol free toner. I love the smell of Witch Hazel, that's a new one on me and it did cool down my skin just after a shaved some areas. Overall a very soothing and enjoyable toner to use. It smelt terrific. 

CellUltra Eye Serum-XT - £170

A wrinkle-smoothing anti-fatigue serum for under-eye puffiness & dark circles. Brightens the eye contour area. The cooling applicator tip delivers just the right amount of this fluid, non greasy serum.

• Eye Revival Marine complex made with probiotics, green tea & pomegranate, enriched with plankton extract, reduces the intensity of dark circles & smoothes fine lines

• Vitamin B3 brightens & moisturises

Thoughts. I'm a sucker for a good eye serum. You have no idea about how I obsess about eye serums and applying a good one gives me untold pleasures. Thankfully this one did not disappoint. Oh the enriched plankton extract, the green tea, what a wonderful litany of peculiar ingredients. It nourished the lines around my eyes and evened out some baggage. 

 Face Ultra - £271

A day & night cream super-charged wit high-performance ingredients and cellular technology. Intensely revitalises and moisturises skin, leaving it feeling newly densified. Visibly reduces wrinkles and deep expression lines.

• Hyaluronsilanol Complex leaves skin feeling plumper & denser

• Squalene nourishes skin

• Fibrelastin complex with dill extract leaves skin more supple & improves overall skin texture

Thoughts. And now time for the headline act. The Face Ultra is a very rich and applies with no residue or grease. It feels like a mini dollop of luxury in your fingers and you almost sigh a little tear as your skin absorbs it. It took to my face like a marlin to open water. It engaged and faded some fine lines over the course of a 5-6 days. It restored balance and I looked forward to putting it on. In fact it even got me out of bed one morning. I know, simple pleasures.
