Outfit of the Day: The Winter-to-Spring Transitional Wardrobe
Carl+Thompson+Blogger+7.jpg

Today I'm going to give you one of my current winter-to-spring transitional outfit ideas that will uptick your style game. It's actually bitterly cold out there right now but chances are you'll adopt this look ahead of time, or you might need be shopping for some looks in a few weeks and are in need of some style inspiration right now.

So here goes.

JUMPER by Boggi

Boy am I in love with this thing. I seriously dig the contrast stripes on the neckline and cuffs that really make it stand out. It has a very studious collegiate vibe. Almost like a Kestin Hare vibe minus the oversize logo patches. Made in Italy, 100% pure cotton though not cheap. Currently listed at £159.

NAVY SUIT or BLAZER by Hawkins & Shepherd

I'm going for the home team on this one. I want to contrast the the light grey knit jumper with a classic tailored Navy blazer from Hawkins & Shepherd, my own brand. The cloth is wool, from Holland & Sherry whom I've established a wonderful working relationship with for the past 5 years. Noticed it's wool but not textured like you'd get with a flannel or tweed.

The cable knit jumper is already very textured so there is no need to go over board with the blazer. Simplicity is key here. This Navy blazer is currently available in the sale for £195.

BLACK CHELSEA BOOTS by River Island

With all the mud and debris out there, I'm reticent to wear trainers whilst out doing these shoots. Plus these Chelsea Boots from River Island offer better protection from the cold.

They have a leather fabric upper, double pull tabs which are essential for ease of getting in and out, and the elasticated side panels mean they're super comfy around the ankles. These Black Chelsea Boots are currently available for a bargain at £60.

ACCESSORIES - Beaverbrooks X TAG Heuer and Dion Dreyes Jewellery

If you want to go one step further with your look then why not invest in some accoutrements. This Beaverbrooks X TAG Heuer limit edition is just jaw-dropping. I've written extensively about this timepiece here You should all know by now my Dion Dreyes jewellery has launched and the debut collection Damaged is very dear to my heart.

If you're digging all the free content then have a look at the collection, you'll be supporting the blog and mental health charities to whom get 10% of all purchases.
