You can always tell something about a man on how clean he keeps the mid-sole of his white trainers. It's also one of the first thing that a woman judges a man’s appearance on. These Alexander McQueen's sneakers look super comfy with the bouncy rubber soles. TIP - use Cif and an old toothbrush to clean white trainers.

This camel brown knit looks terrific in so many ways. I've also been after an iconic alternative of the Jason Bourne fisherman’s sweater from The Bourne Identity. This has many differences to that but the colour and thickness looks remarkably similar.

I've long been after a belted Norfolk jacket, but with clean lines and no box pleats. Which is kind of what this is. It's perfect for the country to city man, and vica-versa. Not out of place in either setting. 

Doucal's Perforated Lace-up Shoes

This 100% leather lace up shoe oozes class. I have a penchant for a wing tip brogue. The brogue detailing gives it a unique quality and I'm needing a pair of shoes I can wear to both informal and formal occasions. 

Eyewear by David Beckham

The blue tinted lenses on this give it a very McQueen Crown Affair sixties vibe. Only without the prices of Persol. I'm hoping these hit the sales this Friday. 

Burberry Signature Check Loop-back Trench Coat

I've based many of my own designs on the Burberry archive. The brand has never gone out of style for me. Fashion is temporary, style is permanent as they say and this Trench coat will always be a staple and a luxury gift for any lucky man.
