SpaScriptions Black Peel off Masks and Exfoliating Scrub - Review

Today I want to share some thoughts on two grooming products that I've introduced to my regime. The SpaScriptions Black Peel-0ff Masks and Exfoliating Scrub.
The Hype:
In 2016, New York City based, family-owned Global Beauty Care (GBC), welcomed its newest member, SpaScriptions. Since then, the high quality, award winning, luxurious skin care line has embraced the same values as the rest of GBC's products -innovative, inclusive formulas, at an affordable price. (Especially if found on discount at Strip Malls). Their extensive product line appeals to customers of all skin types, age groups and transcends cultural boundaries. (Unsure what that last bit means, bit word-salady if you ask me).
The bottles & branding
I do like the fact both bottles are clearly colour coded. So many bottles and grooming products look too similar. I'm not sure I need faces on the bottles however. It's a bit disconcerting having a dude clasp his cheeks looking back at me from my shelf.
Any good?
Personally there is nothing I like more than caffeine and mint. I have caffeine in the morning and mint in the evening. I start the day with this daily scrub, and whilst the caffeine is stimulating the circulation in my face, the mint is hydrating and brightening my skin.
I feel fresh and ready to tackle anything. Well, for about five minutes anyway until I open emails and read the news and get thoroughly depressed as I can't seem to stop this runaway ageing train from hurtling into a mid-life crisis.
But wait, it's not all doom and gloom. We still have a modicum of joy around the corner. The Black Peel-0ff Mask with retinol. Why is retinol used? Retinol is included in face masks to combat signs of aging, improve skin texture, and promote a more youthful appearance by increasing collagen production, reducing wrinkles and enhancing skin cell turnover.
Bloomin 'eck. When I was a kid it was Clean & Clear and that was it. It made my face smell like a goddamn meth lab. I just checked to see if they're still going. And yes, still going. Though this thread says it's a coin toss whether it works for your face or not. Notice nothing on the products or websites tells you to reduce your refined sugar intake.
Buy again?
I would. I enjoyed the process, my skin felt smooth and my overall tone had more balance. It's also easy to use, my only real gripe is the branding and the packaging. Which I believe they have now updated for current grooming products.
