The New Daily Skincare range Formula for Men by Marks & Spencer

Why are men really investing in grooming and skincare? Maybe it's because we're more subjected to what is perceived as attractive. Good skin, straight teeth, symmetrical features, voluminous hair, personalised number plates on a Landrover Defender. I think we all know the drill. Personally for me I believe it starting the day out right. If you begin the day with a plan, with purpose and think to yourself I am impregnable today, then that is a mindset that will help you overcome most adversities.

Starting the day out right is not having a ciggie in bed and turning on FIFA. It's up early, it's fresh air, it's good coffee, it's BBC 4 news, and it's a good skincare regime. A lot of people might think they don't have time in the morning, they have to get the kids ready, walk the dog, answer emails etc. But nothing is more important than getting yourself in the right mindset. Anticipating where the obstacles of the day lie ahead.

I can't emphasise this enough, that starting the day in right way will pay dividends. Walking the dogs across the fields is my new morning routine that helps me clear my mind. I then plan my social campaigns for the week. I don't really read newspapers but I have an Alexa and ask her play the news from various channels so I get the broad-strokes of what's going on in the world. And I can listen to all those stories whilst doing my skincare regime.

Now as you know I've reviewed many products on this blog, so I never really have a strict regime. I have brands that I prefer and regularly go back to. But I'm constantly tweaking it and also introducing new products as I have to give them a run out for a week at least to see if they're any good or not.

This week as you may have already seen on my GRWM videos on Instagram, I recently trialled some products from the new Formula for Men by Marks and Spencer. With each carefully chosen product, it’s like a mini spa session right at home. Because who doesn’t love indulging in a little me-time before kickstarting the day. From the refreshing cleanser that washes away sleepiness to the hydrating moisturiser that adds a boost of dewiness, each step is a luxe treat for the skin. Available in store and online now.

The packaging is clean and looks good on the shelf. Although everything is very entry-level, but that's fine. Not everyone can afford La Mer ok? So I'd recommend these as a gift for someone that's always looking to upgrade their looks, or is just starting out their journey as a gentleman. You can't never go wrong with men's grooming products when it comes to gifting, because we always always need them!
