Millésime Impérial by Creed Fragrances: The Gold Bottle

Millésime Impérial by Creed is a unisex fragrance created by Olivier Creed and Pierre Bourdon in 1995. Hopefully some of you saw me record some footage of the Creed x Flannels event on my Instagram channel a couple of weeks back. BOTTLE AND PACKAGING

Creed have switched up the presentation for Millésime Impérial. It used to be housed in a clear bottle now its in gold, similar to what they did with Irish Tweed back in the day. It's a decent way to keep products fresh and have people talk about them once again. The box is white with a perforated texture, emblems and coats of arms. This  striking gold bottle takes its form from the iconic Creed hip flask.

NOTES

Top notes are Fruity Notes and Sea Salt;
Middle notes are Sicilian Lemon, Bergamot, Iris and Mandarin Orange.
Base notes are Sea Notes, Musk and Woody Notes.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

There is a reason why this was the first ever Creed fragrance that I brought. This fragrance captivates you at first smell by presenting unique and memorable opening notes, achieving a harmonious balance between different scent components, evoking emotions and triggering memories, and maintaining its allure through its longevity and evolving stages. It engages your senses, leaving a lasting impression that resonates with your personal taste and connection to the fragrance.

The Sea Salt notes take me back to my adventures in Mauritius where Tuula and I frolicked along the beaches near the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort. We would run in slow motion along the sand!

There is a hint of fruitiness, some nice citrus and watermelon notes come through before the orange and bergamot come to the party.
