Juliette has a gun Fragrances | My thoughts on their Luxury Perfumes

Juliette has a gun is one of my favourite brand names. It highly coloured, it's danger-charged and it reflects the menace and ambition of the scent itself. I would say most of the fragrances I smelt, although technically unisex, erred more on the feminine side. The best ones were the floral and citrus scents. The USP other than the name is not so much the scent, but the eclecticism that the branding evokes. I would even hate to dispense  with these bottles once they're finished. They are so ornate I'd have them lying around as conversation stimulators.

Here for your interest are 4 of the fragrances that I though had the most appeal for gifting.

Vanilla Vibes - FOR SPRING

The fusion of two opposites: Natural Vanilla and fleur de sel which transports vanilla into a mineral dimension. The vanilla is easily identifiable, but the effect is a far cry from the cookie-cutter identikit vanilla fragrances out there. It has atmosphere, elegance and sensuality.

Pear Inc - FOR SUMMER

Pear Inc. is a fragrance built around a green Pear, laying on a milky heart of Musk and twist of Ambroxan to lift its modernity. It has the promise of summer. It makes you want to lay on a beach and have your imaginary secretary clear your afternoon appointments. It's positive, it's furnished with citrus notes that transmit a very direct hit of conviviality.

Sunny Side Up - FOR AUTUMN

Sunny Side Up is a luminous sandalwood composition with a pleasant woody creamy trail. This is the most masculine of all the fragrances I tried and I'd happily wear this one in the autumnal months. It's got a strong push halfway in that makes you sit up straight. It also became something of a complement magnet for me that day, in store and later down the gym.

Not a Perfume - FOR WINTER

A fragrance made out of a single element called Cetalox. Usually used in perfumery as a base note, it plays here the lead role. Much like a single grain whisky, it does lack a bit of adventure, but is incredibly accessible. If you'd like something more straight laced and direct then this is the fragrance for you. Another advantage of this particular composition, is that it is entirely allergen free. The result is minimalist, elegant, pure.
