Each month will have a theme; Music, Art & Design and Magic, with visual installations that act as storytelling from each of Queen’s historic 5 decades.

The ‘Queen The Greatest’ store will take visitors on a journey over 2 floors, from 70s thrift store (Freddie and Roger had a stall in Kensington Market), 80s iconic live performances and tours, 90s record store, 00s DVD homage through to 2010s tech concepts.

The new store, created in partnership with Bravado, Universal Music Group’s merchandise and brand management company, features all of the hallmarks of the band. The store includes an exciting apparel collection including exclusive collaborations from a host of fashion brands including Champion, Wrangler and Johnny Hoxton jewellery.

Other things to do and see on Carnaby St

The Rolling Stones no.9 Carnaby Street. Much like the Queen pop up store you can immerse yourself in the music, fashion and art from the world of The Rolling Stones. Catch an interview with the man behind it all over on the Menswear Style website.

Below the radar and on the lower ground floor of 14A Newburgh Street in Carnaby exists the MÜHLE Treatment Space; where men’s grooming services. You can also catch a small historical exhibition celebrating the history of shaving.

To eat: You may need to book (if that's possible) at Dishoom. Start with breakfast, which might be a Bacon Naan Roll, a Kejriwal or a Big Bombay. Then lunch lightly on Roomali Rolls and Salad Plates, or linger with a feast.

The John Stephen plaque. For those that know their fashion history you should definitely seek out the John Stephen plaque. Stephen was really the spearhead for the Carnaby Street counterculture that blew through London like a hurricane during the 60s. Check out the podcast From Tailors With Love where my friend Pete Brooker interviews the author of John Stephen, King of Carnaby Street, Jeremy Reed.

course one can't do a listicle on Carnaby Street without mentioning LIBERTY. I've rekindled my love affair with Liberty recently, in a previous article you'll see I've painted my walk in wardrobe space with a unique LIBERTY X Farrow & Ball paint. Liberty is one of the last great British emporiums for innovative and eclectic design. Situated in the heart of London since 1875, it remains to this day the destination of choice for the savvy and sophisticated shopper.
