JO MALONE LONDON LOST IN WONDER | 2 NEW FRAGRANCES FOR 2020

New Jo Malone London fragrances are always highly anticipated due to their perfumers expertise and their effortless ability to be able to create an aspiration campaign around the fragrances; hence they have amassed a cult following of which I’m one! I’ve started to collect Jo Malone London fragrances to keep in the bathroom and spare room for when guests are over to use.

The two new fragrances are part of a collection called Lost in Wonder. They are Fig & Lotus Flower in a cologne and Cypress & Grapevine in a cologne intense. Here is what the Jo Malone Website says about the collection.

Jo Malone London Fig & Lotus Flower

This fragrance is priced at £100 for 100ml and as you would expect the sweet and floral notes shine though. The top note of this fragrance is the Fig Leaf which provides a verdant leafy freshness which combines with lactonic tones to create the distinctive milky scent of fig leaves. The heart note is the dewy and fresh Lotus Flower, this accord creates a graceful light floral heart, representing a flower floating on water. Finally the earthy base note you’ll smell in this fragrance is vetiver. Its grassy character harmonises with the citrus top notes, while its elegant intensity grounds and deepens the fragrance.

Jo Malone London Cypress & Grapevine

This fragrance is priced at £128 for 100ml and is a fresh, aromatic scent that gives off a woody aroma due to the grapevine note. The top note is Cypress (a narrow evergreen tree) which gives it a resinous woody aromatic freshness. The heart note is Grapevine, a sensual woody accord. Finally the base note is Moss adding an earthy, woody warmth. Layer the two fragrances together to create a third unique fragrance from the collection. If the first fragrance is too floral for you, you can balance it out with the more woody second fragrance.
