Top 6 Cars on my Wishlist
Lotus Main Pic.jpg

Today I'm going to give the universe a friendly nudge. I'm a big believer in asking the universe for things, maybe the universe will take my call one day and I might be in with a shot with getting one of my dream cars from my Wishlist.

I won't be going into cars from movies, of course we all want to own an Aston Martin DB5 but maybe I'll save that for another day.

Lotus Exige Cup 430

The Lotus Exige Cup 430 the fastest ever track lotus. Originally a more-hardcore coupé version of the Lotus Elise roadster, since the Series 3 the Exige has been the larger-engine model of the family - using a V6 engine in place of the Elise's straight 4 with convertible versions of both available.

On 9 November 2017, Lotus unveiled the most powerful version of the Exige to date called the Exige Cup 430.  It hit the headlines when it made the Hethel circuit in 1 minute 24.8 seconds – the fastest production car to lap the circuit – 1.2 seconds faster than the road going Lotus 3-Eleven.

After owning a Lotus Exige for many years in the past, I would love to own one again. Perhaps if I ever move out of London to somewhere more rural. Although by that time I'll be probably pining for the Lotus Evija, the first fully electric.

Range Rover Evoque

The compact Range a great city to country car. The best looking SV you can buy. They've addressed some of the issues from previous Evoke models. For example they've moved away from the style over space philosophy. Hence better boot space. Throw your golf clubs in for example.

The cabin is beautiful, seriously slick and quiet. A trait for all Range Rover cars I've been in.

Ferrari Roma

Just a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. From a far maybe a close comparison would be the Aston DB10, the one James Bond drove in Spectre. But this has a more bulbous front end. And I mean that in a good way. The retro perforated grill slants back. It has more grunt, weighs less than the Portofino because there is no roof mechanism.

It's like a Monza for the 20's.

Jaguar E-Type Series 1 FHC

Jag E-type.jpg

A true iconic automobile from the moment it was introduced in the sixties. It looks right, even if you're not into cars. It's probably one of the most 'lustred' after cars, especially in the world of Jaguars.

The design is right from every angle. The sweeping lines, the incredibly long bonnet. I would love to own one and be the centre of attention in every Waitrose car park.

Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet

How can a 911 not be on this list! This version is designed more for daily driving than track. It has all the elements you'd associate with a 911, luxury, technology and performance. A lot of people might say red is the right colour for the Porsche. But you might get a Ferrari later down the road, and you have to have a Ferrari in red right?

So if I was starting my Jay Leno garage, I'd get a Miami Blue in this 911 and that leaves me more colour scope for future Ferrari purchases.

Tesla Model X

Because I want to look like I'm down with the futurists. Plus I just want attention. That's all it is. Have you seen the falcon doors open automatically on a Tesla? I could charge pay per click, people that just want to open the doors to my Tesla X. All that's is missing is some dry ice.
