VICHY Dercos Sensitive Scalp & Dandruff Treatment

Today I want to share some thoughts on the VICHY Dercos Sensitive Scalp & Dandruff Treatment. But Carl, I didn't know you had dandruff? (Anyone remember that commercial from the 90s? Wait could have been the 80s).

Truth is its never far from my mind having. The only downside in being blessed with a full lustrous head of hair is maintaining it on a constant basis. And not just the hair, but the scalp.

Did you know that the scalp ages up to six times faster than facial skin? (Crikey just how unlucky is that for bald men?). It's therefore no surprise that WGSN has reported scalp care is fast becoming the new skincare with a 57% increase in those talking about caring for their scalp.

As an expert in hair and scalp, Vichy Laboratories created Dercos Technique to treat your scalp the same way you would treat your skin. Pioneering 50 years of innovations and research on the scalp including important findings in the science of the microbiome and its link with dandruff.

Dercos Technique Anti-Dandruff Shampoo focuses on rebalancing the scalp to tackle all types of dandruff concerns for normal dry and oily hair. The scalp is left feeling purified, smoothed, cleansed and any excess sebum will be reduced.

Dermos Technique Energising Shampoo is designed to reduce the rate of hair loss and maintain the density of thinning hair due to hair breaking. The shampoo reinforces and protects to leave hair feeling nourished and revitalised.

Thoughts after using for a few weeks

It's a delightfully thick shampoo that creates a froth-able lather with only the smallest of doses. The smell is very pleasant, and not at all synthetic which other hair products, especially ones that are medicating the sample can fall foul of. My hair is soft, clean and my scalp is wonderfully hydrated

The price point is excellent also, making it very accessible. The packaging doesn't look or feel particularly luxury. But I wouldn't consider this a luxury brand or product. It feels and looks like a very straight-laced offering from a professional brand.
